Pool Closing for In-ground Swimming Pools

The team at Prestige Swimming Pool can also help you close your in-ground swimming pools. Some of our services include:

  • A complete pool closing experience
  • Use of a winterizing chemical kit
  • A quick cleaning to prepare the pool for draining
  • Removing all pool fitting like pool filters, leaf catchers, and other equipment
  • Removing all ladders, umbrellas, and railing. We may also remove your diving board though it can stay, if you want
  • Blowing out all pool lines and plugs
  • Covering up your pool with a good-quality cover

Once all the lines have been blown out, we will seal them so that nothing would be able to get inside them during the long winter seasons.

We will then carefully disassemble your pool pump system and take out the pump, water filter, heater, and other accessories and store them carefully in the pool basket so that you can find them easily when it is time to open the pool. When we are uninstalling your pump station, we will also blow out its individual units to make sure they are dry and clean.

The last step is placing the cover onto your swimming pool for closing.

At Prestige Swimming Pools, we will make sure that you don’t have to needlessly worry when it comes to the winterizing of your swimming pool. However, it is a good idea that you have your water quality balanced and the pool is generally clean for a smooth closing and opening experience.

TIPS FOR MAKING YOUR POOL CLOSING EASY

At Prestige Swimming Pools, we keep the convenience of our client at the heart of what we do.

Here are a few tips to follow to make your pool closing as smooth as possible.

If you have placed the pool cover near the pool, we can handle the rest and you can go about your day.

Make sure that your pool gets the proper chemical and pH adjustment throughout the off-season. If you are unable to do this yourself, just give us a call and you can do this for us.

Keep the water level in your swimming at the proper level for winterizing and drain it down after rain or thaw, as needed.

It is also a good idea to give your pool a general cleaning before we come to close it down. If you cannot do it on your own, we can help you.
